Location– New Haven, CT
Currently my growing start up client has some Full time permanent positions open for Mobile Developers- both Android & iOS .
My client is conveniently located in Downtown New Haven right next to the train station.... office is in walking distance!
We are looking for an Android & iOS Developer who possesses a passion for pushing mobile technologies to the limits and has a history of learning new technologies and working effectively in a team environment.& will work with our team of talented engineers to design and build the next generation of our mobile applications.
Successful applicants will have a history of learning new technologies and working effectively in a team environment. Our engineering practices include agile development, pair programming, test driven development, continuous deployment, and responsive design.
These positions offer an incredible opportunity for a meticulous, passionate and savvy self-starter!
Responsibilities will include:
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android & iOS platforms
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Work with outside data sources and API's
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
REQUIREMENTS:
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
- Proven software development experience
- Proven working experience in Android development
- Experience developing native IOS applications
- Comfortable with change and continuous learning
- Willing to develop in a pairing environment
- Experience with Android SDK
- Excellent working knowledge of iOS technologies: Objective-C, Swift, or Cocoa Touch
- Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
- Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
- Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
