NHSO: Sheriff's Office Issues Missing Person Alert for Runaway Juvenile - Marquand Thomas Ward

NEW HANOVER - The New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a runaway juvenile:  Marquand Thomas Ward. Marquand Ward is a 16-year-old black male, approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing 137 pounds.  He has black hair and brown eyes.  Marquand Ward was last seen Sunday, January 24, 2010 around 10:00 p.m. at his residence, located at 118 Briercrest Drive, in New Hanover County.  Marquand was last seen wearing a black short sleeved shirt, red sweat pants and black sneakers.  It is believed that Marquand may be frequenting the area of 1902 Colwell Avenue in Wilmington.  If you have any information regarding this juvenile, call the New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office immediately at (910) 798-4161, or call 911.  ###PIO-CGS
