WILMINGTON - Wilmington Fire Department is currently battling a fire at the Corning Plant, located at 310 N. College Road.

TRAFFIC ADVISORY:

North College Road is CLOSED between Oriole Drive & MLK Parkway. MLK has been reopened. Motorists should expect delays in this immediate area.

Due to this incident, residents north of the Corning Plant should expect heavy black smoke and a "burning rubber smell". There have been no evacuations ordered as a result of this incident.
