NHSO ALERT: Deputies Investigate Found Body in the Carolina Beach State Park

NEW HANOVER - New Hanover County Sheriff’s Deputies are on the scene a body that was found in the Carolina Beach State Park, located at 1010 State Park Road. The body, unidentified at this time was found just before 2:30 p.m. by employees of the State Park.

The Carolina Beach State Park remains open, except for campsites located in Area 2.

Detectives and Crime Scene personnel are responding to the scene at this time. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
