Hello everyone!
I hope everyone enjoyed their holiday weekend.
The Girls of Steel Open House is less than a week away and I wanted to just give an update on what will be happening.
Who: Parents, Students, Teachers, Family, EVERYBODY!
Feel free to let your friends, coworkers, teachers,family, and friends know about the event; we'd love to receive RSVPs, but if anyone doesn't get to us in time, they are still more than welcome to come!
When: September 10 from 1pm-3pm
If you need to leave early or come late, feel free; however, there is a schedule and timed events so come for the full session if you are able to!
Where: Carnegie Melon University, Gates Center for Computer Science, Room GCH 2109
Directions are ATTACHED TO THIS EMAIL! Please open them for guidance. The parking garage is located right past the intersection of Forbes Ave and Morewood Avenue towards Craig Street. For the sake of GPS usage, input this address: 4875-4911 Forbes Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15213! Parking is FREE and there will be arrows leading you from the parking garage to the Gates highbay!

1pm-1:15pm- Introduction
1:15-2:30pm-Stations (Electronics/Programming, Machine Shop, Robot
Demo, Minibot Demo, Non-Tech Teams, FIRST)
2:30-3pm- Parent/Adult Meeting with guest speaker/Q&A session, Students Ice-Breaker activiy
