Audio played before the phone is picked up

Hi folks.

I am been testing Newfies 2.20.1 since some weeks ago. 
At the company where I work we are planning to use it to call our customers and broadcast a message ("pay your bills!" :-) )

Except some minor problems, everything works as expected. So, before asking for help let me thank you for this great software.

There is just one issue i am not able to solve yet:

I create a survey that begins playing a multi choice message ("press 1 to hear the message"), and then, if 1 is pressed, plays a recording.

I tried this in a campaign, but discovered that the multi choice message is played as soon as the call is launched. 
Taking a look at the log while the campaign is running, I can see that the audio is being played when the destination phone is still not ringing.

And as the played message is short, if the called person answer his phone after lets say the 3rd ring, he may miss the message and get just a silent line. 
A workaround I could use is to repeat my message a couple of times more, until some key is pressed, but this would not be the best solution.

Any hint where to look/touch to solve this issue?

BTW, I route my call using an Elastix (asterisk) pbx

Hi

The message will certainly be playing because either Elastix or your carrier is answering the call.

The solution is not to answer the call either in Elastix, or raise a trouble ticket with your carrier, if it's your carrier answering the call.
