Azure Data Architect  with SAP S/4 Hana Experience

Job Description

Understand SAP Hana Data Model and Landscape and solution a transient layer on BDC, that can seamlessly fit in S4HANA and Current Data Model(ECC)

 

Skills and Experience:

 

A job integrating Business Data Cloud (BDC) with Azure Cloud typically requires a strong understanding of both BDC platforms (often SAP BDC or similar) and Azure cloud services, along with experience in data integration, migration, and related technologies

 

In essence, this role requires a combination of SAP expertise, cloud computing knowledge, and strong data integration skills to facilitate a seamless and secure transition of SAP systems to the Azure cloud environment, leveraging the power of SAP BDC for enhanced data management and analytics.

 

Detailed Requirements:

 

Strong SAP S/4HANA and BDC knowledge

 Deep understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture, data models, and integration capabilities.

 Deep understanding of SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC) or similar platforms.

Experience with data modelling, data warehousing, and data integration within the BDC environment.

Familiarity with BDC's data structures, APIs, and data access methods.

Azure Cloud Proficiency:

Strong knowledge of Azure services, particularly:

Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Storage, Azure Networking.

Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse.

Azure Logic Apps, Event Grid (for integration).

Experience with Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates or Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.

Data Integration and Migration:

Experience migrating data from BDC to Azure.

Proficiency in data integration techniques and tools.

Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.

DevOps and CI/CD:

Understanding of DevOps principles and practices.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar.

Scripting and Automation:

Build Testing and Validation Strategy

Familiarity in scripting languages like PowerShell or Python.

Other Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Familiarity with Azure Active Directory and security concepts.
