IBM Maximo Integration Developer with SAP Asset Management experience

We are looking for an experienced Asset Management Developer with a strong background in IBM Maximo and Costar to lead and support the migration of asset data, configurations, and workflows between the two systems. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth experience in Maximo data structures, ETL migration, and integration development, with a solid understanding of asset lifecycle management and financial reconciliation.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Lead the end-to-end migration of asset, location, and maintenance data from IBM Maximo to Costar.

Design and implement ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and load using approved tools and frameworks.

Conduct detailed analysis of Maximo database schema (Assets, Locations, Work Orders, PMs, Inventory, and Contracts) and map to equivalent Costar structures.

Develop and maintain data mapping documents, migration scripts, and validation templates.

Collaborate with business, functional, and technical teams to define data transformation logic, migration strategy, and reconciliation checkpoints.

Ensure data quality, consistency, and completeness during migration using cleansing and validation processes.

Build and test integration interfaces or APIs between Maximo, Costar, and other enterprise systems as needed.

Perform unit testing, UAT support, and post-migration verification.

Provide technical documentation, including migration design documents (MDD), interface specifications, and runbooks.

Troubleshoot and resolve data or interface-related issues in a timely manner.

Required Skills and Experience:

 

5+ years of experience in IBM Maximo development, integration, or migration.

Hands-on experience with Maximo Asset Management, Work Management, and Inventory modules.

Proven expertise in data migration or integration projects between Maximo and third-party systems (Costar, SAP, Oracle, etc.).

Strong proficiency with SQL, ETL tools (Informatica, BODS, SSIS, or equivalent), and data validation techniques.

Experience developing or consuming Maximo MIF (Maximo Integration Framework) interfaces using XML, REST, or SOAP.

Working knowledge of Costar system data model and property/asset management processes.

Familiarity with data quality tools, API-based integration, and cloud data migration approaches.

Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

 

Experience in cloud-based deployments or integrations (e.g., Azure, AWS).

Exposure to financial asset management or real estate portfolio systems.

Basic understanding of IBM Maximo database schema (Oracle/DB2) and Costar reporting modules.

Experience with automation scripting (Python, PowerShell) for data transformation.

Education:

 

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering.

IBM Maximo Certification or Costar Implementation experience preferred
