Cyber Security Consultant

- Roles and Responsibilities:
- Conduct cyber security assessments and risk management for suppliers
- Assess suppliers' security controls, business continuity, and disaster recovery plans
- Identify threats and calculate impact of potential adverse events
- Keep executive management updated on risk assessment results and recommend mitigations
- Demonstrate strong knowledge in IT controls, risk assessments, and security measures
- Identify opportunities to innovate and improve the program
- Ensure successful completion of annual supplier cyber security assessments
- Plan and perform audit engagements related to security and information protection
- Evaluate suppliers' security control framework and drive risk remediations
- Inform and advise business leaders on supplier information security risks
- Provide subject matter expertise in third-party risk management
- Research and improve existing processes related to documentation and security assessments
- Automate security assessment processes and tools for cloud-based applications
- Education and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Science & Engineering or technical discipline
- 7 years of information security and assessment experience
- In-depth knowledge of security assessment/audit principles
- Understanding of networking principles and data protection
- Strong analytical, verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Knowledge of information security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST CSF)
- Experience in supply chain cyber assessment and related tools
- CISA, CISM certifications preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global team
