Good morning friends of NEWaukee,
I'd like to invite you to a very special event happening this Friday in the heart of Downtown. For the first time in history, the Milwaukee Brewers have granted permission for a game to be shown outdoors in the City of Milwaukee. Join hundreds of Brewer fans as we support our favorite team in the only way we know how, a tailgate.

In collaboration with the Pabst Theater and NEWaukee, we'll be displaying Friday night's game on the Jumbo Screen in the parking lot of 5th and Wisconsin. I invite you to join the NEWaukee group located in the large green tailgate bus on the North corner of the Parking lot. We'll supply a giant grill so feel free to bring anything to cook on it. Whats a Brewer game without Beer and Peanuts? Of course, Pabst friendly staff will be on hand to support your tailgate experience.
This event is the first of many planned for Wisconsin Avenue this summer which is being dubbed the WAM District ( Wisconsin Avenue Milwaukee ). NEWaukee is part of a group that is spearheading an effort to help restore the vibrancy to Wisconsin Avenue, a street that once stood as the epicenter for downtown Milwaukee.

I copied everyone on an earlier email to city officials, planners, potentials sponsors, etc.
This one is just to the NKE crew.
After tossing this idea around for the last 2 years, it finally came together, an epic downtown event pulling together PABST, NEWaukee and the Brewers.
Not bad......not bad at all. I guess NEWaukee just gets shit done?
Green Bus - Of course it will be there. We'll have a grill going too.
Trikes - ditto
Tunes - always
Victory - sure
Look for the green bus, and the rowdy crowd
