3rd Annual Newark Grows School Gardens Tour - School Applications Open!

On behalf of the Greater Newark Conservancy and the Coalition for Healthy Food in Newark Schools, we’re pleased to open up the application to participate in the 3rd Annual Newark Grows School Gardens Tour on Friday, June 5th from 8am-1pm. This tour invites schools to show off their school garden programs and share information and best practices while building connections with other school garden advocates and supporters. This is the perfect way to showcase the amazing programming happening across the city and to continue building support for school garden programs.  

 

From innovative irrigation systems to hands-on learning experiences that support students of all abilities, each garden brings something valuable to the table. The tour is designed to inspire, inform, and support schools at every stage of their garden journey

Notifications will be sent out by Friday, May 1st regarding which schools were selected to participate this year.
