Happy New Year! I hope you’re all settling into 2026 well.
As we think about our programming for the year ahead, we’re also closing out this chapter of our "Golden Paths and Generational Bridges" project funded by AARP and wanted to thank you for being part of the effort in some way last year, whether through planning, participation, attendance, or support. Each touchpoint really helped inform the work and how it came together.
We’ve pulled together an updated project page that reflects key moments from the work and features a selection of videos produced through the project, informed by the full set of conversations, events, and contributions that shaped it: https://njbwc.org/2025-aarp/
We’d love for you to share the videos where it makes sense and to keep the content in mind as you’re thinking about planning conversations, outreach, or engagement in your own work. The stories and perspectives captured here are so important and were always meant to live beyond the project itself.
We’re also excited to share that this project will be featured as an Association of Pedestrian and Bicycle Professionals (APBP) webinar this August, helping bring these lessons to a broader audience. You can view the webinar listing here: https://apbp.mclms.net/en/package/18838/course/34392/view
Looking ahead, we’re interested in finding ways for this work to show up more visibly in the community beyond the webpage, including possibilities like a pop-up exhibit. If you have ideas, spaces, or connections that could support something like that, we’d love to hear from you.
Separately, we’ll also be in touch in the coming months as we think about other opportunities to continue working with this community more broadly this year.
With much appreciation,
Tiffany
