Awards will be presented at


 ANJEC's 2025 Environmental Congress

ANJEC 2025 Environmental Achievement Awards

The ANJEC Environmental Achievement Award program recognizes exceptional projects carried out by environmental commissions and groups. 

Projects begun after 1/1/22  and completed by 8/01/25 are eligible for nomination for a 2025 award.   


ANJEC grant projects are not eligible for this award. 


AWARD CATEGORIES: 

  • Environmental commission project
  • New environmental commission project (for commissions formed after 12/31/2021) 
  • Community organization or board (local, regional or statewide) 
  • Recurring project -Project can receive award one time

ANJEC 2025 Municipal Leader Awards



Environmental Commissioners and other local volunteers are invited to nominate a local elected official who has been an outstanding advocate for the environment.

  • Supporting Regional Collaborations
  • Action Update on NJPACT/REAL


Hear keynote speaker NJDEP Commissioner Shawn LaTourette share how New Jersey is positioning itself to weather climate change.


Network with regional and local environmental non-profits and businesses!
