JP Morgan Chase Corporate Challenge

Dear New England Walker members and friends,

It's that time of year again! Once again the New England Walkers have been asked to help at the 2014 JP Morgan Chase Corporate Challenge, 3.5 mile road race.

 

The race begins at 7:15 p.m., Tuesday, June 24 at the Boston Common.The course heads down Charles Street, left onto Beacon Street, left onto Arlington Street, and down Commonwealth Avenue to Kenmore Square. It returns down Commonwealth Avenue, right on Arlington, left on Boylston Street, and finishes back on Charles Street. The event is held in 12 cities. The top-finishing teams in all 12 cities will qualify to compete in the Championship Race, held in October in New York City.

Our volunteer duties will include marshaling along the course and perhaps a water table at the finish. New England Walker volunteers will receive a volunteer T-shirt and will have their memberships extended while helping earn revenue for our club. On race day, we'll meet near the volunteer tent on the Boston Common (see map) starting at 5PM. Please be at the meeting place by 6:30 to give yourself time to get to your station. You can reach me on the Boston Common at 857-919-3945.

I know it is short notice, but I am hoping that some of you can come help out tomorrow (Tuesday) at the JP Morgan Chase Corporate Challenge. You will have some fun and raise money for our club while also earning a free year as a NEW member.
