Real Estate Attorneys and Brokers Lecture November 2, 2017 2:00PM to 4:00PM

I am pleased to advise that I will be holding a Real Estate Law and Real Estate Brokerage Law Lecture on November 2, 2017 from 2:00PM to 4:00PM at the Civil Court at 927 Castleton Avenue, Staten Island, NY. The Lecture will be addressing:
CURRENT UPDATES IN REAL ESTATE LAW, PITFALLS AND LANDMINES AFFECTING ATTORNEYS AND REAL ESTATE BROKERS, NAVIGATING THE RICHMOND COUNTY CLERK WEBSITE, AND THE NEW TITLE INSURANCE REGULATIONS SECTIONS 206 AND 208.
The Lecture is primarily intended to serve as a serious fundraiser for the hurricane victims of Puerto Rico. This is what we are as Members of the Richmond County Bar Association and Members of SIBOR. I intend to earmark the lion's share of what we collect to the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of San Juan de Puerto Rico.
As I do regularly when I lecture, I will be linking the materials to a website, and we will provide the website and the pass code at the door to those attending for ready access.
The Lecture will be geared towards Attorneys practicing real estate law, and it will also cross over as to matters specifically affecting Real Estate Brokers and Agents as well. It should be recommended that those attending to bring their Laptops, I-Pads, and I-Phones so as to follow along. I recommend that attendees bring ID so as to ensure access to the Courthouse.
The timing allows for the Court Officers to be present, and this will give them enough time to set up for Small Claims Court that evening. As Attorneys, Brokers and Agents have experienced with my lectures in the past, I will be providing the substantive materials. Accompanying me on the panel will be the Honorable Philip Straniere, who will readily interject with his legal decisions, opinions and anecdotes. I will keep the room alive, rest assured, and no one is exempt from getting called on. Also on the Panel will be Catherine Schiavone, Esq. who heads up Richmond County Clerk recordings, who will present a primer as to how to easily navigate the Richmond County Clerk website to locate legal documents and in preparing cover records. This is an invaluable tool for both Attorneys as well as Brokers. The Notice of the Lecture is attached, so feel free to distribute it.
