Any chance of getting an FTF game together the last weekend of July or
the first weekend of August? It may be my only chance to play for a
while . . .

Are you asking about the 25th/26th? Thats the weekend of Husky Con, which is a FREE diplomacy tournament on Long Island. you can view all the information at www.Huskycon.com, and I recommend it over a house game here in the city.

The first weekend in August is WBC, which I am unlikely to attend. I would consider playing that weekend. Anyone else interested.

Oh, great! I have been out of the loop and hadn't realized HuskyCon
was coming up. I've been jealous of y'all based on reports from
previous years. Looks like I'll be able to attend this year for the
first time! (Do I need to register?)

I think WBC is actually August 3~9, according to the BPA web site:

http://www.boardgamers.org/

The "associated pre-cons" for August 1~2 don't look all that
interesting.

I would go ahead and email Conrad Woodring to expect you (should be big this year!), although not strictly needed, its good for them to have a rough idea of who is attending, as they provide food and drink for the weekend for attendees.
