Hi!

A few years ago we coordinated efforts with DPANY, local groups, and Amnesty International's GOTB for a rally in front of Sudan's Mission to the UN. Last night, I received the following message:

I  just wanted to alert you that Amnesty International has received permission for a demonstration: Friday April 7 at 3:00 PM outside Sudan's Mission to the UN: 305 E. 47th St., NYC, as a part of our annual GET ON THE BUS event.

Some of the issues we will address include: release of human rights defenders and prisoners of conscience; humanitarian access and respect for refugee and IDP protection standards; attacks on civilians, including the chemical weapons attacks in Jebel Marra; and accountability for war crimes.
