Alien Landings - Reality Games

In celebration of the upcoming release of the remake of "The Day the Earth Stood Still," and in recognition of last night's show on History Channel addressing government [non-]policies dealing with sightings of UFOs and/or possible landings/crashes of starcraft, let's play a reality game.

Assume there is life beyond that we know on this world (many of you do anyway), and that you are a believer it exists.

Assume also some of that life is of not only higher intelligence, but also higher intent, concerned only with uplifting all creation and assisting us with our evolutionary journey.

Assume, too, that some of it is not, and is only concerned with its own interests, even when that means dominating or annihilating other life forms (like us).

Now assume that UFOs are not only spotted in our skies in ways that no one can deny, but also openly land in populated areas.  No one knows their intentions, much like when the saucer landed in "The Day the Earth Stood Still."

Curiosity abounds.  Fear grows.  Panic spreads.  Public safety forces are called.  The military is there, too, with the rest of their forces placed on high alert.

What is your role, or that of your extended community of believers? 

Do you try to engage a public/media/government that doesn't know how to respond?  If so, then how?  Or do you just sit back thinking to yourself, "I told you so?"

How would you recommend we as a species deal with both possibilities (friend or foe)?

In hindsight, as a believer what preparations would you suggest might be undertaken to ready ourselves for such an event?  Would you have prepared/trained public officials and crisis response teams?  If so, how?

Would you have tried to facilitate communications/interaction with the star beings before any such possibility occurred?  If so, how would you do so in the face of an unbelieving public/media/government?  How would you establish an effective network or infrastructure to deal with such events?

Finally, what if you did all that and you were wrong.  The bad guys showed up?

What an interesting game, as it reminds me of how our society works in general. Here goes my response.

What is your role, or that of your extended community of believers?

My role in that of a community of believers would be as it is now, to be quietly planting seeds among the curious/nonbelievers.

Do you try to engage a public/media/government that doesn't know how to respond?  If so, then how?  Or do you just sit back thinking to yourself, "I told you so?"

This to me, is called the compassionate observer. I don't think that I would sit back thinking "I told you so", but would help to create a space for people to understand what had happened. Start the clean up, so to speak. I personally would not try to engage the public in such a manner. Seers have been persecuted for thousands of years for exactly this. Perhaps we are getting a little wiser?

Just know that this will happen and the universe will take care of it.

We are a fear based society. All actions taken would be toward the negative. Even those beings that come in love and light will be seen only in fear by non-believers. The only way to prepare public officials would be to continue to quickly and quietly raise the vibration so that nonbelievers will either see or retreat, in order to eliminate a galactic war. If the vibration is high enough. This will not be an issue. Possible, even, that the nonbelievers will never even see what is going on.

Many of us are already communicating with the star beings. Not sure about establishing and infrastructure, that seems very political, thus causing discord.

Finally, what if you did all that and you were wrong.  The bad guys showed up?

Who is to say who is the good guys and who are the bad guys? There are human beings destroying the earth today that many consider the "good guys". However, in keeping with the game, if the supposed bad guys showed up, we would already know, because the Seers amongst us would give us ample warning to protect ourselves. We have the power to create a shawl around ourselves, deeming us invisible, thereby in the reverse manner from my above answer, allowing ourselves not the be seen by the bad guys.
