Can't customize position of JumpStart toolbar button

When Firefox starts, the JumpStart button always appears between the URL input and Search input boxes on my toolbar, even if I customize the toolbar to put it elsewhere. How can I get to stay where I put it?

Running verison 0.5a5.5.4 with Firefox 30.0 over Linux Mint 16 (petra).
