I love everything about New Tab JumpStart except the bar that appears
when I do a search from the new tab. Is there an option to disable
that? I hate having to click the X to close it everytime I search.

Thanks

There's is an option to do it but you have to set it manually.
Go to: about:config
Change mlalevic.jumpstart.persist_search_notice to 0.

The meaning of it is - after how many clicks notice will be hidden.
Default value is 2. So if you search for a term and, say, in google,
you get response, you click on a link there, that would count as one
click. After next click notice will disappear, since that would be the
second click. E.g. you search for bbc, in google you click on the
first link (bbc.co.uk), then you click on News - notice will disappear
at that moment.

Hope this solves the issue for you.

Cheers,
Mihailo
