how to remove new tab jump start option

Greetings, I just want a blank screen when i open a new tab. how can i make that happen, and not all of the recent sites i've visited.

I'm not sure what are you asking.
The purpose of the extension is to show recent sites you've visited. Did you install the extension at all? Are you referring to the new Firefox 13 feature instead? Which version of firefox do you have?
