to New Sgaw Karen Hymnal
The Sgaw Karen Hymn and Tune Book (1963) has two hymns that purport to
be translations of Fanny Crosby's "To God Be the Glory", both set to
the W H Doane tune by that name. One is KH58, and the other is KH181.
The English-title index only gives the former. The translation at KH58
is unattributed, whereas that as KH181 is attributed to L. & P. S.
(i.e. Thramu Laura & Thramu Paw Say).

Is one of these in some sense "better" than the other, or should both
be held equally qualified for inclusion in a new hymnal (be it bi- or
mono-lingual)? I have put a PDF in the group files, accessible from
http://new-sgaw-karen-hymnal.googlegroups.com/web/KH58-KH181.pdf
