Dear Sir/Madam,

The Consulate General of Japan, Mumbai and Origami Mitra will hold an Origami Workshop by Ms. Miyuki Kawamura, a renowned Origami Artist on 21st September and 22nd September, 2013 at the J.J. College of Architecture, Dhobi Talao, Mumbai.

Ms. Miyuki Kawamura is an origami artist.  She is a renowned origamist who completed her doctoral course in material science at the Graduate School of Science and Technology, Kobe University, Japan.  Her work showcases the potential of applying mathematical theory into a form of origami art.  She is well known in Japan as well as abroad for her innovative works in modular origami.  She has published many books including “Polyhedron Origami for Beginners” etc.

The workshops will be held in two sessions as follows :

     Beginners Workshop:  21st September, 2013 (Saturday)
     From 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

     Intermediate Workshop: 22nd September, 2013 (Sunday)
     From 11:00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m.
