The navy color was great for when you are looking for something a little different than a little black dress. "I purchased this dress to wear to a semi-formal awards banquet. The navy color in this case is stunning, not at all drab. The fit on my is more form fitting than shown on video, the "skirt" of the dress does not move as shown in the video, it remains flush against my body. The gold hardware at the neckline is a nice elegant touch and gives some needed interest. For reference I'm 5'4" tall, with 3 inch heels the dress falls just above my knees.
