These animals are located at Iredell County Animal Services in Statesville, NC!At this time, Iredell County Animal Services does NOT have transport “connections” so it will be UP TO THE RESCUE wanting to pull the animal to coordinate transport! Please email Amber at Rescu...@iredellcountync.gov and please provide the animal’s name (and/or Animal ID#), your name and the rescue group you are affiliated with!If your rescue is new to pulling from ICAS you MUST submit the Rescue Agreement Paperwork (attached) BEFORE any hold or transport will be planned (it is quickest to complete and send in if you are inquiring about an animal)!
Meet the adorable "Patty" (A295080). This 2.5-month-old Setter mix came to the shelter as a very sick stray.Little Ms. Patty was tested and came back Parvo+.The vet team quickly got Patty on the road to recovery.Patty has since been cleared, she is symptom-free and doing fantastic.Due to the shed period being 14 days from the time of diagnosis, it is recommended by the vet for Patty to be in quarantine for a full 14 days.Patty will come "AS IS," and with a current rabies vaccine.Due to the time needed for quarantine, we are asking for rescue help to pull her from the shelter.
Must be claimed and out of the shelter by: August 23rd @ 4:30**Once a rescue commits to pulling a dog(s)/cat(s), they have 2 business days to arrange transport to pick the animal(s) up from the shelter unless otherwise arranged with the rescue coordinator. The hours for the shelter are Mon-Fri 12:00 pm-5:00 pm & Saturday 11 am-2 pm. If the rescue does not correspond with the rescue coordinator for 24 hours post commitment, the animal(s) will be offered to other rescues.**
