One of a pet parent's worst nightmare is for their fur child to go missing!  This is a nerve-wrecking situation for all involved!

RCR Alum MOLLY wandered off when the mosquito control company left the backyard gate open.  Her mom was unaware that the gate was open when Molly went outside.
Molly was adopted from REDCOLLARRESCUE  10 years ago.  Her human mom lives alone after the recent loss of her husband, and Molly is her constant companion providing emotional and physical support!
We received a frantic phone call from Molly's mom when she went missing.  We jumped into high gear to help find Molly!  This consisted of making & hanging flyers, social media posts to NextDoor, Facebook, Ring Camera apps, Pawboost, etc., leaving out smelly food and more.
Molly is a shy dog, and even though she was wearing a collar and tag, she would run when anyone tried to approach her.  We continued to look for Molly day and night, and followed up on several leads, including a sighting on a nearby golf course and late night convenience store.  Molly had crossed a major road and was in a totally different neighborhood than where she lived.
After 5 stressful days and nights, Molly was finally found when someone saw a dog fitting Molly's description lying on their front porch via their ring camera.  The owner rushed over and it was Molly!  This was the BEST news ever!
However, Molly had sustained injuries from apparently being hit by a car.  She had deep wounds on her back covered in maggots, ulcers in her mouth, and a hyperextended wrist and ankle which may require orthopedic surgery.  She also lost 8 lbs. The vet said it was a miracle that Molly survived!
Molly is home safe, but without a dedicated effort to find her, the outcome could have been grim.   REDCOLLARRESCUE  is always there to help our adoptive parents in time of need.  Please contact us!
