Hi everyone, thank you so much to everyone who replied to me. Bon Bon from the Victor Valley shelter in Apple Valley is now safe as of yesterday with Chows Plus. I am sorry if I was unable to email earlier, as I just had eye surgery and still can hardly see (don’t worry, I will be okay in time, but am very limited in what I can do right now).I want to thank Cheryl at Chows Plus for stepping up for her, thank Susan for helping us with transport, and thank donors for offering assistance to help pay for boarding, vetting, etc, since we needed to get her out right away. Subject: URGENT YOUNG CHOW GIRL NEEDS RESCUE AND PLEDGES ASAP AT VICTOR VALLEY SHELTER IN APPLE VALLEY- 'BON BON"- NEEDS PLEDGES, RESCUE, FOSTER

 

We are in need of pledges asap for this beautiful young girl’s rescue. For the past week, I have been corresponding with Susanne the rescue coordinator at Victor Valley Animal Protective League in Apple Valley. Bon Bon (as they are calling her) came in as a stray quite scared, but they were finally able to get her out of her kennel this weekend, and sent me videos we have since posted on facebook. However, the shelter asked for a rescue to take her as they are full and she needs placement asap. We are still looking for a suitable foster, and will likely have to bring her to boarding just to get her safe for now as we have little time. She also still needs a spay. If you can pledge towards her rescue, can you please lmk asap at robin...@cox.net as we need to get her out quickly.

Southern California Chow Chow Rescue Network she is still fearful. She does have all black tongue. Have no other info at the moment. She is available to rescue now.

 

If you are adopting, fostering or rescuing any dog, please always verify all information with the shelter, rescue or private party you are obtaining a dog from and do your own due diligence to be on the safe side. In many cases, a breed, age, temperament is only a guesstimate or opinion,  and dogs can act much differently in a different environment.
