There will be a Crossing Groundbreaking Celebration for the Wildlife Crossing that will protect/save our amazing wildlife.

The groundbreaking ceremony is at capacity for in-person attendance, but we have other ways you can participate!   Livestreaming of the Groundbreaking Ceremony Watch the Groundbreaking Ceremony on our live stream from 10:00 am to 11:15 am PT on April 22 at www.savelacougars.org! You can also conveniently watch the livestream of the Groundbreaking Ceremony on a big outdoor screen at King Gillette Ranch prior to the start of the Crossing Celebration (see below). Bring your own chair or blanket as the venue is lawn seating.   Crossing Celebration Come celebrate the groundbreaking of this landmark crossing on April 22, 2022 at one of the most stunning locales in the Santa Monica Mountains, King Gillette Ranch. We’ll have food and fun for everyone with a carnival theme, and the chance to win some cool cougar prizes. The Cougar Conservancy will have educational exhibits and cougar-proof enclosures on display—don't miss out! Artist Obi Kaufmann, who created the special artwork for the groundbreaking, will be there to sign his prints and books. Alan Salazar a traditional storyteller and native educator, will also be doing a booksigning. Their items and more will be for sale at the onsite #SaveLACougars store.
