If any of our younger members are in NYC for the marathon, below is a Korean American charity that has a few members running to raise money. One of the members, Andrew Pak, works for Goldman Sachs on the bond desk and I am a client of his. They have an area that supporters will be gathering to cheer them on. It would be great to help them in their efforts to aid the KA community.

Dear Friends,

This Sunday, five intrepid runners will be making KACF history when they pound the pavement at the ING New York City Marathon 2010 to raise awareness about issues in the Korean American community and the work of KACF!  We want to thank Ann Joo, David Joo, Emily Kidder, Andrew Pak and Daniel Roh who have dedicated themselves to "go the distance" to make a difference by training and fundraising for KACF as part of our Inaugural Marathon team.  We also want to express our thanks to all of you who have made a donation in support of our runners.
