I did not know of this incident.
I agree with the news item that this should have been handled better.

I absolutely disagree with the Govt. action to
stop this individual from travelling.

The Govt. has faced some repurcussions in court:

The issue does however have some extenuating circumstances
(as described in the article) which might help rationalise
the Govt. action to some people (not me); and make it difficult
for champions of liberty and freedom [in the media or
other political parties] to take this up in earnest.
