| | Hello New Harvest!
Does it ever feel like cellular agriculture breaks every rule? USDA or FDA? Meat or not meat? Vegetarian or not vegetarian? GMO or non-GMO? These are just a few minor examples of cellular agriculture’s disruptive potential.
That’s why the theme for the 2023 New Harvest conference is Paradigm Shift.*
The theme prompts us to ask: are we truly set up to advance cellular agriculture for the public good? What needs to structurally change to ensure this technology creates a better world? New incentive structures? New funding models? New approaches to protecting and sharing knowledge and intellectual property?
SAVE THE DATE: **If we are able to raise $150,000 in conference sponsorship by November 15, 2022**, the conference will be held June 15 & 16 at New Lab in Brooklyn, NY. |

If we can’t raise $150,000 the conference will be a no-go. With the macroeconomic issues at hand it is not responsible for us to commit to the conference before we can secure it.
Would you or or company like to sponsor this year? Reach out to Britt Chambers, our Conference Sponsorship Liaison, at brit...@new-harvest.organd check out our sponsorship deck!
This conversation is just too important to not have. I hope you can join us to make it happen. |

*The paradigm shift concept was first introduced in Thomas Kuhn’s 1962 book, The Structure of Scientific Revolutions: "Paradigm shifts arise when the dominant paradigm under which normal science operates is rendered incompatible with new phenomena, facilitating the adoption of a new theory or paradigm." |
