We're getting spammed

I've been receiving several spam emails that appear to be originating
from this site. Is there any way to prevent this or slow this down??

In order to make this site easier for geocachers to access, I had the
permissions set to a lower level that allowed non-members to post to
the pages. Sadly, people have taken advantage of that. Settings are
being turned up a notch.
