Maker Faire(s)

Hi all just wanted to let you all know that Maker Faire R.I. is next
weekend and just wanted to have some kind of idea of who was going :-)
we also have the annual Maker Faire NY coming up the week after R.I.'s
we don't think that we are bringing our Makerbot to R.I.'s but we may
bring ours to NY but who knows it's all in the works :-) so let me
know if you plan on attending one of the biggest 3D printing events of
the year thanks

Going down with my wife and kids.
When I went last year I felt bad that I didn't bring my kids (I'd wanted to but there was some reason that I didn't that I don't remember), so I decided last week that we should definitely all go back this year. I'm driving down with my wife and four kids, to stay with my brother again, and head over on Saturday.. Just one day this year, as we have to be back home for an open house at work early Sunday morning (which only happens like once every five years and its the family's only chance to see the inside of my work).

(and as much as I swore last year that I'd bring my Mendel down this year, it's not gonna happen.. All of the kids, only one day at the faire, etc. :( )

I plan on driving down to the Rhode Island Mini Maker Faire on
Saturday. I'll be driving from Maynard, MA and have room for one
passenger if someone in this area (or on the way) would like a ride.
I have three nearly equal routes I can take:
Route 2 from Concord to I-95 to Providence
Route 117 from Maynard to I-495 to I-95 to Providence
Route 62 from Maynard through Hudson to I-290 to Route 146 to
Providence
