Hi all i just wanted ti say that Makerbot and RepRap made the top in
the most interesting project and we may be getting 2 XO's to test the
reprap and makerbot software!!! YEAH WHERE #1

Nick,

Would you please post a bit more detail about what contest/poll/
whatever makerbot and/or reprap won. Also, what's the status on your
getting X0s and from whom?

Hay Larry,

It was for OLPC list of projects they are considering loaning out the newest laptops to for compatibility testing and development so it was not a contest per say.

As for the status we have not heard any thing as of this last news.

Yeah we recently received our XO's and i love them we will be posting
our progress on the group as time goes on right now we are trying to
learn how to use it and to also to get a good feel for it so stay
tuned!

Hi Nicholas,

Glad to see you got some XO's via the contributor's program. Did you get XO-1 or XO-1.5's? The later model is quite a bit better than the original.
