Hello New England Lightning District -

Just had a very successful Marblehead Helly Hansen Sailing World regatta - 9 races! Mark your calendars for the last week of July for next year.

Lots of great regattas coming up in te district and looking forward to your participation.

- Squam Lake Saturday August 16

- Lake Massabesic Saturday/Sunday September 6-7

    Register now to save $10 off the fee, must be postmarked by August 4. NOR with form attached

- Bow Lake Saturday September 13

    Saty and race radio controlled model lasers in our regatta the next day Sunday the 14th. We have loaner boats available. Great fun!

- Malletts Bay, VT Saturday/Sunday October 4-5 (I  thought it was Oct 11-12 but Lightning calendar says Oct 4-5)

Let's make a real effort to get good attendance at these regattas!

Other great events outside the District include

- NA WJMs (Womens, Juniors, Masters) August 8-11 Larchmont, NY just a few hours drive away

- North Americans Wrightsville Beach, NC September 23-27

- U32 Metedeconk, NJ October 11-12

And do not forget to log your days Lightning sailing (racing, day sailing, cruising, paddling...) for the GOT (Get Out There) Flashes Challenge at https://www.lightningclass.org/gotflasheslog. Let's see if we can put the New England District on top of the Leaderboard!
