Subject: Recycling

Two small non-ash hardwood saplings were purple-ribboned near the Little Village side of the path between Shady Grove and the Village, right where Recycling usually sets up their 3 barrel kiosk.  I talked with Recycling Coordinator Amy Hand today, who agreed the kiosk should be moved across the path, to the Moon Lodge side of the path, to protect those baby trees.  She ask me to be sure there was signage both on the baby tree side, where the barrels should not be dropped, and on the Moon Lodge side, where they should, in case the crew dropping barrels this weekend (Saturday the 5th, day after tomorrow, or Sunday the 6th) doesn't get the message, or to remind them if they forget.  I might be out there tomorrow or Saturday, or I might not be there til Sunday.  If you're there before then PLEASE MAKE THOSE SIGNS.  Cardboard is fine, they only need to last until the barrel drop.
