Board Endorsement

At the last Council meeting we discussed and agreed that the Council would write a letter to the fair family endorsing long-time Villager John Alexander's run for a second term on the OCF Board. Our endorsement letter follows this text. If you are registered as an OCF Member, the election is coming up. You should have received a ballot by email.

Dear Fair Family,

The Community Village Coordinating Council does not speak for the whole Community Village, but we do speak for ourselves and our council when we offer our support and endorsement to John Alexander. John has been an important part of Community Village through his work with the Klamath Bird Observatory in our Come Unity House for over twenty years. His long experience working in the nonprofit world is a huge value to the OCF, and his deep knowledge and passion for stewardship and conservation ecology are essential to have in an OCF leadership role, now more than ever as we face the prospect of the Emerald Ash Borer's impact on our beloved land. John truly embodies the Village's values of consensus, cooperation, a stubborn commitment to the conviction that a better way of living together is not only possible but inevitable. We are proud to endorse his candidacy for a second term on the OCF Board.
