Happy New Year! We are deep into the 2nd Trimester at school. Kids are working on projects, classes are well into their curriculum, and activities are hopping here.
Our sports club is starting Volleyball next week. Our Seniors are planning their Senior trip to Miami - hopefully to get a little warmth! Our new Parent-Teacher Association is up and running - we are so grateful for the parents that are taking an active role in our school and their child's education.
New Century Drama is rehearsing for our 2010 Theater Production - "A Company of Wayward Saints". Eric Ljosenvoor is our director. Eric has extensive professional theatre experience - we are so happy he is leading our troop this year. The cast and crew is working hard on sets, costumes, and rehearsing lines. Performance dates are March 25, 26, and 27 at 7:30 PM and March 28 at 2:00 PM.
Our Prom committee is making plans for a gala event on April 17th at the Event Center - watch for more details coming soon.
And best of all, kids are learning and growing every day. They are preparing for upcoming testing and presentations. A busy time for all.
