Dear friends,
action at 'Never Forget' has just started and we will be needing all the support from you to make it worthwhile.
Incidentally, the Annual Conference on Electoral and Political Reforms is being organized in Mumbai this weekend (31st Jan and 1st Feb,
details and attachment below).
I will be attending the Day 1 (31st Jan) for sure as that includes:
1.
Overview of Recent Civil Society Initiatives.
2. A session on Political
Reforms.
3. A session on Role of Media in Elections.
All these sessions are pre-lunch and one needs to be at the venue by 8:30 am to get registered.
So, all of you, who are in Mumbai (or are visiting) - please try to attend and may be we can have a small get-together (I guess, the first!) of 'Never Forget' team in the making.
Please confirm, if possible, whether you are attending.
- Varun

Dear Anupama.
This is excellent initiative, we hope you and your group can sustain it over a long period of time and it is not just a one-off thing. The need of the hour is to make our politicians accountable and based on what we see, it is going to take long, sustained effort from several directions.
We are having our 5th National conference in Mumbai, I have attached details, including the details of a press conference we did. We invite you to attend this conference. Entire EC is coming and we will have election watch teams from all the states of India.
Regards,
