Job Description:

 

IndustryBuilt is growing. IndustryBuilt’s JustFoodERP team is looking for a pre sales consultant. The Pre Sales Consulting role represents an important contributor to our sales process. As an ERP software company, prospective customers are dependent on the pre sales consultant to translate stated requirements into business context, most often through the demonstration of our ERP offering. The pre sales consultant works closely with the sales, implementation, and development teams to ensure success in the sales process. 


In order to keep your skills fresh, we will also have you participate on customer projects in the role of Application Consultant. This helps provide “real-world” anecdotes and perspective to the pre-sales role. 

Responsibilities: 


• Participate in sales discovery process as prospects approach the Qualification stage. This involves participation in interviews and discovery meetings with various people within the customer organization. 
• As opportunities develop, participate in on-site sales meetings and facility tours. Used to help gather an understanding of a customer’s business, these on-site meetings provide much of the data needed to configure a product demonstration. 
• Configuration of product demonstrations to fit the requirements of prospective customers. 
• Clearly articulate the benefits of JustFoodERP to all levels including line of business managers and "C" level executives 
• Provide input to other cross-functional departments pertaining to prospect requests and product enhancements as needed 
• Maintain account and opportunity updates within our internal sales force automation system to manage and prioritize sales opportunities 
• Develop, present and deliver high-impact demonstrations of the JustFoodERP solution on a weekly basis 

This role requires up to 50% travel throughout North America.

Skills


• 3 + years in a comparable pre-sales position supporting the sales cycle in ERP applications 
• 5+ years business experience 
• Must have experience with an ERP or inventory management package and thorough understanding of accounting principles 
• Must be familiar with production and manufacturing concepts including roles of planning, scheduling, and approaches to effective inventory management. 
• Experience in the food industry a definite asset 
• Experience with MS Dynamics NAV a definite asset 
• Previous application experience in one or more of the following required: Sage MAS 500, Sage X3/Adonix, SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, CDC Ross, or other process manufacturing ERP solution. 
• Experience with MS Dynamics CRM, SharePoint 2007/2010 a definite asset 
• Solid presentation and interpersonal skills 
IndustryBuilt uses a number of methodologies including Miller Heiman Strategic Selling, as well as “Demo to Win”. We will provide as much formal methodology training as desired. We also make a significant investment in employee training programs related to industry certifications (PMP, APICS CPIM) and product certifications.
