I just spoke to Harriett Gordon, Esq, Educational Attorney, on the
phone who will be on The Rose Moore Show this Saturday from 6-7 pm
pst. on www.alltalkradio.net.
All the laws are there to protect out children against being arrested
but the problem is that the Courts do not have jurisdiction over the
schools. She will be discussing how we can lobby to get this changed
as well as what HAS to be in IEP and behavior plan to STOP these
arrests. PLEASE do not miss this show. www.alltalkradio.net
If you know of anyone with a child or teen with any sort of disabiity
please let them know about this show. Just because the Schools and
Districts do not want these kids in our schools they have joined
forces to get rid of them by getting them arrested and put in jail.
This has got to stop. Can you imagine a 2nd grader being handcuffed
and taken off to jail? It happens!!!!
