I haven't been active, no, but this project, above any others,
inspires me to be part of the open-source community. I still greatly
desire to take part in pushing Gentoo Linux usability forward for all
devices. That is one of Neuvoo's goals.
School is about to strike again, and that means I will become busy. I
do poke my head into IRC and see if I have any away messages now and
then, so if you have a question or an idea, feel free to use IRC like
e-mail, with a chance of perhaps catching me online. I'll try to idle
there more often.
In addition, I need to buy another ARM board to continue work. My last
BeagleBoard died, and I'm eyeing the xM. If any of you have
electronics recommendations, let me know.
It may be a year or two before I get my free time feet back under me,
but when I do, you can be sure I will be back.
(If any of you are reading this and are discouraged by the lack of
activity, don't be! If you don't want to be part of Neuvoo, but want
to be part of Gentoo, keep in mind that we are part of a greater
community, which is always active. The tip of the iceberg is in
#gentoo-embedded, where dedicated Gentoo developers lurk and are
always hacking away at something. Neuvoo is simply a casual group of
Gentoo fans who want to be the entry point into practical uses of
Gentoo Embedded's work.)

"For then there will be great distress, unequaled
from the beginning of the world until now — and never
to be equaled again. If those days had not been cut
short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the
elect those days will be shortened."
Are you ready?
