NEUTRAL AMERICAN SPEECH AND VOICE
-This course will aid students in accent/dialect reduction, as well as
help to fine-tune an American dialect.

What will you be doing?
- Learn proper pronunciation and placement of vowels and consonants
- Technical exercises (Vowel/ Consonant exercises, Song-to-Speech
Exercise, Word Practice, Tongue Twisters)
- Individual needs evaluation by the instructor at the beginning of
the course
- IPA (International Phonetic Alphabet)- gain a solid understanding of
this important worldwide "alphabet"
- Practical exercises with text (using news articles, literature, and
poetry)- putting the technical skills to use
