Thenew film teases a villain origin story for Marvel character. In comic book storylines, Kraven is a killer predator that sets his sights on Spider-Man. He is also oftentimes portrayed as a member of the supervillain team the Sinister Six.

One of my favorite things about Frozen, besides everything, is the way the movie turned stereotypes on its head. Which is why I'm so fascinated by this trailer showing us what it would have been like if Elsa was the villain in Frozen . When I first saw that headline, I was more amused than anything, because I felt like Elsa being the villain of anything was so far from the truth. In my mind, she's the hero of the story, so how could she be bad? There's never been a bad or evil Disney princess. But, then, I began to realize that Elsa is actually the antihero of the story; you root for her even though she negatively affects the world around her, because you can tell that her motivations are good. It's just her follow-through that ends up being such an obstacle.

So, with that adjusted in my head, I'm looking at this trailer for the movie-that-wasn't in an entirely different light. This is the movie that we would've gotten if the creators of Frozen were lazy. Specifically when it comes to the writing of female characters, there isn't typically a whole lot of gray area between good and bad, the maiden and the crone. Either Elsa intends to be good and is good, or intends to be bad and is bad. But, in the same way that Frozen's creators upended the stereotype of "love at first sight" for Anna, allowing our own suspension of disbelief when it comes to fairytales to bite us in the butt when Hans turns out to be duplicitous, they also went against convention by refusing to make Elsa a cut-and-dried character like the one shown in this (very well done!) spoof trailer.

Sure, these are weird connections to make when we're talking about an animated ice queen, but they're all quite apt, and realizing the connection gives me a new appreciation for everyone involved in crafting the Frozen storyline. They could have put out another cookie-cutter rendition of all those classics where a wicked stepmother or an evil stepsister prevent our clear-eyed heroine from falling in love at first sight and living happily (and simply) ever after, but, instead, they gave us a surprisingly complex tale of a coupla ladies doing their best. Not to mention a movie that can keep on surprising me almost two years after my initial viewing.

Including Trevor Sova, whose time as a contestant on season six of the dating series led to infamy when rumors circulated he'd had a secret, off-screen girlfriend while shooting the series. Though he denied the claims, Trevor's first go at reality TV love was unsuccessful.

Which is perhaps why he is one of four Love is Blind alum joining the second season cast of Netflix's Perfect Match, which brings together a group of singles from across the streaming giant's reality series to couple up and test their relationships through compatibility challenges.

So who else is exchanging the pods for paradise? Trevor's fellow season six castmate Jessica Vestal, as well as season five's Izzy Zapata and season four's Micah Lussier.

It's Jessica, however, who seems to find herself at the center of drama. While telling the camera, "I do have a very specific type," the rest of the trailer appears to reveal that the 30-year-old and Too Hot To Handle's Harry Jowsey hit it off.

But soon, there appears to be trouble in paradise as Jess tells cameras, "I don't know what to believe," followed by The Mole's Dom Gabriel asking Harry, "If everyone's so genuine, why did you come here?"

Oxygen delves into more complicated friendships and the romantic bonds that smoldered with heat and devolved into cold blooded tragedy when the third season of Killer Relationship with Faith Jenkins premieres this August.

So the fact that this game is giving us Dr Nefarious pre-robot is a wonderful thing! Sure Chairman Drek is a good villain; but Nefarious has staying power. If this game serves as a set up for Nefarious to again be a returning villain in this Rebooted Ratchet & Clank franchise, then that is even more reason to be excited for things to come. And to add to the awesome, original voice actor Armin Shimerman is returning to the role. Now we just need to hope his wise cracking butler Lawrence does as well.

As has become standard with "Star Wars" projects, the trailer features plenty of familiar faces from that galaxy far, far away. Fans of "Rebels" will appreciate the sighting of a Loth Cat, while there's a live-action debut for Huyang, the ancient droid who helped Padawan learners construct their lightsabers in "The Clone Wars" (where he was voiced by "Doctor Who" star David Tennant). We also see the return of Genevieve O'Reilly's Mon Mothma, seen most recently in "Andor." Like Mothma, Ahsoka was pivotal in the formation of the Rebel Alliance that overthrew the Empire.

He's since gone freelance and passes his time writing about "Star Wars", "Star Trek" and superheroes for the likes of SFX, Total Film, TechRadar and GamesRadar+. He has met five Doctors, two Starfleet captains and one Luke Skywalker, and once sat in the cockpit of "Red Dwarf"'s Starbug.

DuPont and Chemours paid $671 million to settle more than 3,500 lawsuits that claimed they were to blame for the leak, also known as PFOA or C-8, from the plant. DuPont has used PFOA in the production of products such as Teflon.

The trailer has hints of a thriller, including one moment that reads more like a mafia movie than a corporate drama. In it, Ruffalo gets into his car in an empty parking garage and hesitates before turning the engine, scared that his life might be threatened.

"Who do you think you are, some kind of animal?" Saban Films has debuted the official US trailer for an indie crime drama titled Villain, marking the feature directorial debut of filmmaker Philip Barantini. The story follows a former criminal just released from prison and his attempts to help his family by reconnecting with his daughter and clearing his brother's debt. Despite his efforts, he is drawn back into a criminal way of life, with devastating consequences. As as always when criminals get out, try to stay away from crime, then get sucked back in for "one more job" to settle the score that still ruins everything. Craig Fairbrass (from "EastEnders") stars, along with a big cast including George Russo, Izuka Hoyle, Mark Monero, Tomi May, Eloise Lovell Anderson, Taz Skylar, Nicholas Aaron, Michael John Treanor, Marcus Onilude, Robert Glenister. This looks pretty forgettable and repetitive, there's not much you're missing if you skip this one.

Eddie Franks (Craig Fairbrass) is a former criminal who attempts to help his family by reconnecting with his daughter and clearing his brother's debt. Despite his efforts, he is drawn back into a criminal way of life, with devastating consequences. Villain is directed by British actor / filmmaker Philip Barantini, making his feature directorial debut with this film after a few other short films previously. The screenplay is written by George Russo and Greg Hall. Produced by Bart Ruspoli. This already opened in UK cinemas in February earlier this year, but it hasn't shown anywhere else yet. Saban Films will release Barantini's Villain in select US theaters + on VOD starting May 22nd coming up this summer. Anyone interested in this one?

This movie is the first time this Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) gets to play in the same universe as the Avengers and the X-Men, as Disney bought 20th Century Fox in the years since the last Deadpool movie. (See also: the giant 20th Century Fox logo toppled in the desert in this trailer.)

Marvel have finally released Deadpool 3's first trailer, and the new title - Deadpool & Wolverine - in parallel with Super Bowl LVIII, packing in Marvel movie references and promising a multiverse story for Ryan Reynolds' Wade Wilson. Crucially, as well as centering the dynamic between Deadpool and Hugh Jackman's returning Wolverine, Deadpool & Wolverine's trailer also introduces a major new villain drawn from Marvel Comics.

Deadpool & Wolverine's packed cast had partly been a secret, with question marks over the specific roles of big-name actors like Succession's Matthew Macfadyen and The Crown's Emma Corrin. Various set leaks also pointed towards the involvement of several returning actors from the Fox X-Men movie timeline and other Fox Marvel movies, including Jennifer Garner's Elektra, but the Deadpool & Wolverine first look only revealed the surprise return of X-Men 2 and The Last Stand's Aaron Stanford (Pyro). In a not-unexpected reveal, the upcoming Deadpool & Wolverine's villain has also been confirmed by a brief first look at X-Men character Cassandra Nova, who may be key to Wade Wilson's TVA-sponsored mission in The Void.

A brief shot from the Deadpool & Wolverine trailer shows the silhouette of a bald figure from behind, sporting a huge stiff collar. The look suggests that Cassandra Nova's look in the upcoming sequel will be a comics accurate take on the original Marvel Comics character. Interestingly, the trailer also seems to confirm that a pocket of Marvel villains, including Pyro and someone who looks suspiciously like Fantastic Four's Doctor Doom, ruling over The Void, which was introduced in Disney+ series Loki. Introducing Nova as their leader might make sense, but her astral powers could suggest that she represents an even bigger threat to the multiverse's new timeline established in Loki season 2's ending.
