Good morning. The Neurospora Policy Committee is excited to announce that the registration for the Neurospora 2025 conference is now open, and will run until August 1, 2025. We are excited to host an outstanding conference of Neurospora research at the Lodge at Schroon Lake, in New York, USA.

Instructions for registering: 

Registration Instructions.

1. Go to the https://neurospora.org/neurospora-2025-conference/ webpage to register (all of the information below, and relevant links, are also available at this website).

1. 1. Click on the button “Click here to register for the Neurospora 2025 conference!” to registration button. 
   2. You will be redirected to a website at RPI. Please fill out the form, selecting the trainee or faculty pricing. If you have an adult guest, they must register independently at the faculty level pricing. If you have a child guest, they must register independently at the trainee level pricing.
   3. Please note any dietary restrictions.
   4. Submit your registration and payment information.
   5. You will receive an email from “The Office of Alumni Engagement <alu...@rpi.edu>” with your registration information.

2. Once you have registered, go to the following link to book your hotel room.

2. 1. Once your reach the page, select October from the drop-down menu. 
   2. The green blocks are the days for which our group has a special rate. The conference runs from the 5^thto the 8^th of October, but you can book a day before and a day later. Select the days you would like to register for a room.
   3. Select apply.
   4. Select your room choice (single or double), and then click the “Go To Checkout” button that appears; all rooms should be given the Neurospora Policy Committee Group Rate.
   5. Check out though the website.

3. Once you have booked your hotel room, go to the following link to submit your abstract.

3. 1. Individuals can submit abstracts for their oral or poster presentations through August 31, 2025. The Neurospora Policy Committee is excited to offer Three-minute Rapid Talks for trainees to present their research at an international conference. Please indicate your interest in giving a three-minute rapid talk when you submit your poster abstract.

The  website also has links for conference attendees to sign up to carpool to the conference from one of the surrounding airports (please contact those individuals directly to arrange a ride), and to coordinate room sharing, as conference attendees who want a double room will need to specify their roommate when booking their room.

Thank you to everyone who has already registered for the Neurospora 2025 meeting, which will occur October 5^th to 8^th 2025 at The Lodge at Schroon Lake, in Schroon Lake, NY. We are guaranteed to have an exciting program of speakers!

In case anyone else from your research group(s) or institution - or even any friends or colleagues who work on Neurospora - would like to attend the Neurospora 2025 conference, the Neurospora Policy Committee has extended the registration deadline until August 15th, 2025. Please forward this email (with instructions on how to register for the conference below) to anyone else you know who might be interested in attending this exciting research conference.
