Dear all,
we would like to make you aware of the symposium “Time and Light” that will take place in Vienna from May 8-10 2016. The symposium will bring together scientists and students from across the world to discuss forefront research and future perspectives on the impact of light on organisms and chronobiology.
Contributions will be made by an highly interesting panel of invited speakers covering the importance of rhythms and light from human psychology to the life of marine diatoms (see below) and members of the Research Platform “Marine Rhythms of Life”. Furthermore, a number of oral presentations will be selected from submitted abstracts, while all other participants are offered to present their work in the form of posters.
Overall, the symposium will cover a broad range of topics, including circadian, circalunar, circatidal and seasonal rhythms, and a number of species, including diatoms, corals, insects, worms, fish and humans.
Abstract deadline: March 1, 2016
Acceptance notice: March 15, 2016
