System diagnosis

Hi, everyone,

I hope everyone had a great holiday! I'm still stuck in the system diagnosis. We checked everywhere, but when we try to input some signal from the Test60 MEA, nothing happened. The preamplifier have been tested by the software (MEA_select) from MCS, it showed CONNECTION OK which means at least the amplifier was power supplied. When we try to input some signal from the SCB-68A, we can see the signal shown in that channel. So, is there any other possible problem I can check?

Even we don't have the signal, we can get the waveform as the picture below (the channel 2 has some problems), the setting of spike detection and sorting is also showed below. Does it mean the system is working?

When the test MEA is on, I tried to use the probe of function generator to touch the pin of preamp, when the SPIKE PASS is off, it showed a square-like thing. Is it a noise? It didn't change with the function generator. If the SPIKE PASS is on, it showed some noise with a sine-like fluctuation, same problem, it didn't change with the function generator. Does these phenomenon mean something, or just the normal noise?
