Hello,

I am a biomedical engineer and assistant prof at Old Dominion University, and I am writing an NSF proposal on personalized, tract-aware DBS simulation. I am contemplating using NeuroRighter in conjunction with this simulation project, would in fact be an open-source contribution in itself. Would it be feasible to do this, i.e. using NeuroRighter with a simulated electrode model?

There is a time-critical aspect to this question.

Thanks for your kind support.

Hi Michel, while you could definitely power a DBS electrode with the Neurorighter system (after a couple cable modifications), you would have to get approval to use it for humans (unless it's just simulation, like your email says). The hardware and software are not FDA approved for human use.
