Every year since 2005 we have been organizing the Latin American School of Human and Medical Genetics - ELAG. This course provides a review and an update about applications of genetics to health sciences, and it is aimed to young health care professionals and health science graduate students and postdocs. This year the XIV Course will be held from April 29 to May 5, 2018, at the traditional venue of Hotel Samuara, Caxias do Sul (100 km from Porto Alegre airport). We are selecting students interested in the course, which will have a partial fellowship to attend the course. The students selected will have to pay a contribution of US$ 350 (in addition to the travel to Porto Alegre), all other costs with transfer from airport, hotel, meals and registration will be covered with the fellowship. For a restricted number of students, a full fellowship covering all costs will be granted. To apply to the course, candidates should access www.igpt.org.br and submit their application.
