Hi Darren,

I am having an issue w/ Neurolucida where I cannot make fine rotations
of my image stacks. It has the option but it doesn't work correctly
and freezes up when image stacks are too big. Does Neuromantic have an
option to rotate image stacks (preferably all image stack tiles
currently loaded or selected) and traces, where the rotation would be
reflected in the swc file (e.g. rotate the branch point coordinates as
well)?

IMO, it would be a worthwhile feature since cells often need to be
aligned by some absolute reference frame in order to be compared. I
only need to rotate in the X,Y plane, but I could see benefits in the
choice in Z too for others since slices often occur in arbitrary tilts
in the z direction.

Thanks,
Kerry

Hi Kerry,

So, you're wanting to perform non-90 degree rotations on image
stacks/composite stacks? I suspected that this day would come ;)

This isn't supported in Neuromantic currently, I'm afraid, although I will
try and implement it in future - I'm been working on a more general visual
stack interface for a while that would allow this kind of transformation.

Hi Darren,

Just to update: While it would still be a nice feature, I personally
don't need to rotate the stacks anymore. So don't worry about it on my
end.

Thanks,
Kerry
